Pursuing an International Degree
If you wish to study in Portugal and more precisely at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, all the information you need will be provided here.
The International Student Statute sets the rules for the admission of international students in professional higher technical courses (CTeSP), undergraduate and master’s degrees. The conditions offered are different from those established for Portuguese students or for students arriving from the European Union.
Mobility
As a way to contribute to their academic, cultural and personal enrichment, the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (IPV) offers foreign students and staff (teaching and non-teaching), the opportunity to apply for a short or long term study or work experience in our institution.
Recognition of Foreign Academic Degrees
In Portugal, the recognition of higher education degrees and diplomas awarded by foreign higher education institutions is regulated since January 1st, 2019 by Decree-Law No. 66/2018. This Decree-Law revokes Decree-Law no. 283/83 and Decree-Law no. 341/2007.
